For expert hikers looking to climb Mount Rinjani in 3 days and 2 nights, a more challenging and faster-paced itinerary can be arranged.

This itinerary is designed for experienced hikers who are physically fit and accustomed to long, strenuous treks at high altitude.

Total trip is 4 Days 3 Night included Stay 1 night in Senaru village on arrival day before start hiking.

Trip Will start from Sembalun village and finish at Senaru village.

Day 1 : Pick up – Senaru village 

Preparation

  • Arrive in Lombok island,pick up and then bring to senaru village to stay a night before hike.
  • Check into accommodation, rest, and prepare for the trek.(Visit two famous waterfalls in Senaru village if arrival day at noon)
  • Meet your guide and porters, discuss the trekking route and logistics, and ensure you have all necessary equipment.

Day 2 : First Day hiking 

Senaru Village-start point Sembalun Village – Campsite Sembalun Crater Rim

  • Start early in the morning with a drive to the start point Sembalun Village (45 minute Drive)
  • Begin the trek from Sembalun Village to Sembalun Crater Rim, the first campsite.
  • Enjoy stunning views along the way and take breaks to rest and hydrate.
  • Reach Sembalun Rim campsite in the late afternoon, set up camp, and relax.

Day 3: Summit Attack & challenge 

Campsite – Summit – Segara Anak Lake lake – Crater Rim Senaru

  • Wake up well before dawn and begin the challenging ascent to the summit of Mount Rinjani.(Get a light breakfast before start).
  • Reach the summit (3,726 meters) in time for sunrise and marvel at the spectacular panoramic views.
  • Descend back to the campsite for breakfast and a well-deserved rest.
  • After breakfast, continue the trek down to the crater lake.
  • Lunch at the lake after Finish bathing in the hot springs .
  • Then continue the journey up to the second Crater Rim/Senaru rim (last night campsite)
  • Set up camp,dinner and rest.

Day 4: Last Day Hiking 

Crater Rim Senaru – Senaru Village -Next destinations

  • Wake up early, breakfast and start the trek Descend to the finish point in Senaru village .
  • Enjoy the last views of Segara Anak before beginning the descent to Senaru Village.
    – Arrive in Senaru Village in the afternoon, where your trek concludes.
    – Rest and reflect on your unforgettable adventure on Mount Rinjani and then bring you to your next Destinations.

Need to bring during hiking

When hiking Mount Rinjani, it’s essential to pack wisely to ensure your safety and comfort throughout the journey. Here’s a list of essential items to bring:

1.Trekking Gear:

  •    Sturdy hiking boots with good ankle support (required)
  • Lightweight, moisture-wicking clothing (long-sleeved shirts, pants, socks)
  • Waterproof jacket and pants (Required)
  • Hat or cap for sun protection
  • Sunglasses (optional)
  • Trekking poles (optional but recommended for stability)
  • Headlamp or Flashlight with extra battery

2.Camping Gear:
